I am writing to see if you can help to get SHDC distributing black and green bin bags here in Spalding.
We had our last issue of bags in November last year and were expecting the next issue by the end of May.
I contacted an unhelpful person at the council who told me that the company who distributes them last ‘did’ Spalding on December 17 so we should expect them by June 17 (still not arrived as of June 21).
I pointed out to Mr Unhelpful that the company probably didn’t do the whole of Spalding in one day and that we had ours in November. He then suggested I buy my own.
SHDC have pointedly stated that refuse collection has been unaffected by COVID-19 so come on, stop wasting money on painting arrows in Market Place and provide us with bin bags that we are paying our council tax for.
