LETTERS – Total disregard for the law?

I have reported to the council three times that a nearby resident is in the habit of leaving non collectible waste outside of their property on the public footpath with no action being taken.
To date two wooden cabinets and a fridge have been in situ for over a month only to be joined by a motorised scooter, a number of cycle tyres and various bags containing non collectible rubbish.
Not only is this practice anti social but prams and disability vehicles will struggle to pass.
Either this person has a total disregard of the law or like me realised that the local council are perhaps not particularly interested in anything concerning our once pleasant town of Spalding.
