LETTERS – Thanks for supporting charity golf day

We’d like to thank everyone who was involved in Inky’s Memorial Golf Day recently in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Special mention to Charlie for hosting it for the sixth year at Gedney Hill Golf Course.
The eventual winner was Eddie Rhodes, he was presented with the shield back at the Lincoln Arms where other prizes for the golfers were presented.
There was a raffle where tickets were sold previously in the week and on the day, there was lots of prizes to be won.
We were very thankful of the generosity of everyone who donated all the prizes towards the charity day.
We’d also would like to thank Graham and Lindsey Gaunt for a beautiful buffet, and also a mention for the Lincoln Arms for hosting the prize giving after.
The final total raised on the day was £1,550 in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, and since the event has been running they have raised a total of £8,675 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
It was a great day and effort from everyone involved.
