LETTERS – Thanks for helping mum

Please can I sincerely thank those who stopped to help my mum when she fell on Spalding Road on Friday afternoon (October 6).
Several people stopped and a kind resident let her use his house to clean her cuts.
She received some nasty injuries which saw her in A&E for quite some time but she’s now slowly on the mend.
It’s heartwarming to know that people stopped and remained with her, as well as providing her with towels, reassuring her.
Thank you so much to everyone who helped her- it really does show that there are some wonderful people around.
