Regarding the article on Padel Courts:
I am writing to express my enthusiastic support for the development of Padel Courts in Spalding.
As a resident of the area I believe the facility would be a fantastic addition to our community, filling a significant gap in our local recreational infrastructure.
Padel is currently one of the fastest growing sports, it is uniquely accessible, social and caters to all age groups and fitness levels.
The sport’s lower barrier to entry makes it an ideal way to encourage more people to stay active and healthy. The facility would promote physical health and mental wellbeing. I think that the council has been rather short sighted in there decision to reject planning.
