Letters – More questions not asked

The BBC Radio 4 programme Any Questions came to Spalding on Friday, July 27.

These seven questions were not asked on the programme:

1. Should it be compulsory to vote in this country?

2. Should the school-leaving age be lowered to 14?

3. People have travelled from Spalding to Boston in various ways over the years – by foot, by horsepower, by train and now by car or bus or lorry. How will they be travelling that journey in 70 years’ time?

4. Does Mr Barnier want to come to any agreements about Brexit before next March?

5. If there were a second referendum and you had the job of framing the question or questions on it, what would it or they be?

6. Is it a disgrace for sites to stand derelict in Spalding while acres of good arable land are for sale in the surrounding areas, destined to be covered by concrete?

7. Is David Davis a wise old bird?
