LETTERS – I didn’t get my bags either

In response to an article in your mail section re: When will we get more bags.

At the end of February, beginning of March, the black and green refuse bags were rolled out in my area. I, for whatever reason, was missed.

At my earliest opportunity and amidst the lockdown I was able to ascertain that whilst my neighbours had received theirs – whilst I had not.

Like the writer in the June 25 edition I contacted a most unhelpful person who said I should supply/buy my own, and went on like some repeating robot to say that my next delivery would be some time in August.

I offered three possible solutions to get my allotted green and black bags:

1) that one of the managers deliver them on his/her way past

2) that the refuse guys drop them off

3) that arrangements be made for myself to travel to Spalding and collect them.

The reply was the same – your next delivery date will be in August.

I hope you Lord Porter will read and respond to this that I am paying for month on month, because when the lockdown is eased I shall be making an appointment with you sir face-to-face to demand a rebate.
