LETTERS – Holbeach does seem on the up

After attending last Saturday’s Christmas Fayre I felt compelled to express my thanks for all the hard work the team of volunteers puts in to organise this and other events enjoyed by a large number of people throughout the year.

Holbeach really does seem to be on the up, with the Indoor Farmers Market, the Holbeach Past Exhibition on the High Street (well worth a visit, if you haven’t been!), an excellent Classic Car Show in the summer as well as other ‘pop-up’ events; all due to the hard work of a small group of people.

We have some new Christmas lights, an interactive information board and even some decent public toilets; something no self-respecting town should be without!

So well done all of those involved; Holbeach can now use its old sobriquet of ‘A Nice Little Town’ again.
