LETTERS – Appalled at terrible parking

I am visiting Spalding from Canada.
I am appalled at the lack of thought by numerous people who park their vehicles half on the pavement so that people in wheelchairs and scooters cannot access the pavement.
Not only do they do that, but they often park where the drop down curb is.
This means even mums with prams cannot cross the road, let alone disabled people.
Please have some thought for people less fortunate than you and park more thoughtfully in future.
Finally, the pavements in many places are so badly in need of repair it is dangerous for wheelchair users. A few examples are Pinchbeck Road, Park Road and Winsover Road.
