LETTER: Rubbish outside school is appalling

I took this photo at around 11am on Thursday, December 18.

As a regular Thursday morning visitor to the area, I confirm this is usual.

The bin lorry is not expected for about 24 hours time.

The bags were blowing around as usual – one had reached the other side of the road which I returned to the school office.

This is appalling behaviour by an institution that I hope is trying to influence young people.

I hope a bit of publicity might put some pressure on it to sort the issue.
