LETTER: Roundabout at Little London would help

Following your recent article in respect of improving the traffic flow in Spalding, I’d like to draw attention to the daily convergence of traffic from several directions between the BP garage on London Road, Little London and the nearby bridge over the River Welland.

At peak times commuters collectively compete for space in the traffic flow from both directions London Road, both directions Cowbit Road, Hawthorn Bank and Cradge Bank, with occasional vehicles adding to the confusion waiting to enter or leave the BP filling station.

A mini roundabout could help lubricate the movement of the vehicle queues in each road and avoid collisions waiting to happen.
