I write regarding Coun Richard Davies’ comments about the central section of the so-called relief road.
He quotes last month’s survey result as:
-39 per cent preferred a western alignment
-37 per cent preferred an alternative option
-24 per cent preferred an eastern alignment
Why has Coun Davies made no reference to all of the people who preferred no relief road at all?
Does he still not realise that many local people feel very strongly about this developer driven monstrosity?
Why have Lincolnshire County Council and South Holland District Council held no public consultations with the impacted residents since the alignment of the northern and southern sections were announced?
Having been forced back to the drawing board Coun Davies, is it not now time to end all of the deceit and lies?
I would be obliged if you would answer two important points Coun Davies:
1. Do two large cul-de-sacs + one pipe dream = one relief road?
2. When the Spalding to Pinchbeck Road eventually becomes gridlocked, how many additional thousands of pounds of tax payers money will it take to remedy the situation?
