LETTER: Main sewer pipe is the problem

I have just read the article in this week’s Voice, regarding the go ahead on the brownfield site near Northons Lane.

I am a resident in Northons Lane and would like to point out my big concern is not the drainage as such but the main sewerage pipe, which can not cope with the existing properties now, and has had to be unblocked several times.

This never seems to be mentioned in any meetings.

I would be very interested in the details of the later drainage approval which you may cover.
