LETTER: I feel like an outsider in my own town

How can you have integration in Spalding where when you drive into town via the A151 all you see is eastern European shops catering for people from Europe.

I’ve never been in one of these shops as I feel like an outsider in my own town, and now China City has closed and become another shop (we don’t need any more).

How can the local council keep saying yes to all these shops (bet they don’t live round here), and the owners of Balls newsagents are leaving thanks to the European shop over the road undercutting with cheap fags and booze.

I’ve had enough and don’t feel like these people are trying to integrate.
