League has increase in teams

The AGM of the Spalding Darts League was held on Monday night and it was great to see the league go from 23 teams to 28 teams for next season.

Considering post-COVID the league had 13 teams this is great growth for the league.

A big thanks goes to all the committee for their hard work and chairman Ian Tilley.

After the AGM the league held the Captains’ Cup, Ladies’ Singles and Mixed Pairs competitions and all were played out to a winner.

In the Captain’s Cup the winner was Ant Richardson (Rose and Crown C) who beat Drayman’s B’s Connor Hughes.

On to the ladies’ and the winner was Tracey Baldwin (Riverside Hotel) who beat Sonia Kwaterowska (Mulberry’s).

The Mixed Pairs winners were Ash Allen and Claire Brookin (Consti E) who beat Logan Goddard and Ruby Ilic (Rose and Crown C).

Next week will see the entrants battle out for a place in the singles final with 128 entrants across the three leagues.
