Lawe fills Tigers hot-seat on temporary basis

Callum Lawe has been appointed interim manager of Holbeach United, following Chris Carter’s departure.

The Eastern Counties League side are hunting for a new manager but have given Lawe the job on a temporary basis to ensure pre-season preparation is not affected while the Tigers are between managers.

Lawe, who will be assisted by Callum Madigan, is head coach of Holbeach’s academy u19 college programme.

A club spokesman said: “The club wishes to place on record its sincere gratitude to Chris Carter for all his hard work and his achievements in taking the team to eighth position in the 2024/25 season. Chris will always be a welcome visitor to the club.”

Holbeach have called off Saturday’s planned pre-season match against Downham Town.
