Late goals scupper Knights’ hopes

It is turning into a straight fight between Pinchbeck United and Hucknall Town to avoid the wooden spoon position in the United Counties League.
Both sides lost 4-0 on Saturday and have only one win each to their name this campaign.
The Knights were left feeling hard done by after holding second-placed Melton Town 0-0 at half-time on Saturday.
However, the hosts went ahead early in the second half and, with Pinchbeck pushing for an equaliser, they conceded three more times after 73, 80 and 90 minutes to sink to a sixth straight defeat in all competitions

Harry Grigas got two goals with one apiece from Danny Firth and Archie Rickards completing a 4-0 win for Crowland at Louth Town Reserves.
Jack Dicker got the only goal of the game to enable Tydd to climb off the bottom of the Peterborough League Premier Division table against Whittlesey Athletic Reserves.
