Knights hoping for better 2024

Ahead of the Christmas period, Pinchbeck United will be hoping for a better 2024.

The Knights fell to a 3-0 defeat at home to Skegness Town last Saturday after playing a man down for all but ten minutes of the match and remain rooted to the foot of the table with just one win to their name.
Their Christmas schedule includes two away trips to start.
First up they head to Deeping Rangers on Saturday for a 1pm kick off hoping to pick up the win in the local derby.
They then travel to Sleaford Town on Boxing Day for a 3pm kick off.
The Knights are finally back at home on Saturday, December 30 when Wisbech Town are the visitors to the Sir Halley Stewart.
All of the sides are in mid-table so Lewis Thorogood will be looking for his side to pick up points and move above Hucknall Town.
They battled well last Saturday against Skegness after Harry Cranfield was shown a straight red after just 12 minutes for a challenge.
Skegness took the lead in the 16th minute through George Hobbins before doubling it six minutes after the break via Scott Floyd.
More sheen was added to the scoreline when Declan Johnson added the third four minutes from time.
Knights: Bowen, Cranfield, Fields, Fox, Henderson, Jaine, Kanu, Melson, Robson, Slater, Wallace. Subs: Djalo, Fogg, Hunt, Ibeneme.
Attendance: 39
