Kirton’s Ben Wilson set for NW200 outing with Gearlink Kawasaki

Ben Wilson is to contest the NW200 Supersport races with Gearlink Kawasaki – but will not represent the team in the other races in Ireland or in the British Supersport Championship.

Wilson will pair up with his former team-mate Alastair Seeley in the NW200 Supersport race in the Northern Ireland races and is anticipating a strong result when the races take place in mid-May.

The Kirton racer will soon be in a position to announce his plans for the forthcoming season, but It looks like he will be riding in the Superbike and Superstock races at the NW200.

Wilson said: “I am looking forward to making my return to the NW200 this year, last year was a learning year and I really enjoyed the experience.

“I know the Gearlink Kawasaki team so well and I know that we can achieve some really strong results there.

“I secured an 11th and 9th last year and will be pushing hard to improve on those results this year.”
