King at the double as Spalding United beat Bedworth to end winless run

A double from Gary King fired Spalding United to a 2-1 triumph over Bedworth United on Saturday.

King netted with a free-kick and a penalty in the first half of the Evo-Stik NPL First Divisions South clash at the Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field.

Matt Varley and the Bedworth keeper were both sent off in the second half before the visitors pulled one back late on (own goal), but Spalding held on to end their four-game winless run.
