Spalding air cadets celebrate successes

Members of the Spalding Air Training Squadron have been celebrating a first in recent history.

Three members have achieved the three available lanyards.

Cadet Sergeant Jordan Bertolaso (18), achieved the status of Qualified Air Instructor Cadet. Cadet Sergeant Amber Wait (17) is Instructor Cadet and Cadet Sergeant William Chew (18) has achieved the status of Junior Leader.

The awards reflect the hard work and effort by the cadets involved, to be awarded lanyards and instruct fellow cadets in specialised subjects.

“It was a great learning experience and it has broadened my horizons,” said Amber.

The 1406 (Spalding) ATC meets at the Castle Sports Complex on Tuesday and Friday evenings.
