Jungle Book show will keep kids entertained

Half term holidays are approaching and if you are wondering what to do with the kids, Baytree Nurseries Garden Centre will be presenting the Jungle Book in the Baytree Theatre.

The production, which runs from February 17-21, is being presented by Spalding production company Hammond Feel the Magic, whose shows have been presented all over the world.

The show features live performers and puppets and is packed with catchy songs and audience participation, making it suitable for children of all ages.

The show features characters from Rudyard Kipling’s classic book and tells the story of Mowgli who grows up in the jungle with his friend, the lovable bear Baloo.

Baloo and his animal friends protect Mowgli from Shere Khan, the tiger who wants to change the law of the jungle making him king.

Mowgli befriends the Princess Shola and with the audience’s help, works with the animals to defeat Shere Khan and restore calm to the jungle.

Baytree, at Weston, offers ample free parking and you will have a chance to meet and greet the characters before and after the show.

There are three shows a day – 11am, 1.30pm and 4pm, with two on Sunday – 2pm and 4pm. All seats are priced at £4.
