Journalist’s only 10k ever!

A Spalding Voice journalist is taking part in her first – and last – 10k run at the weekend.

Donna Semmens (54) has been training for the GEAR 10k which is held in King’s Lynn on Sunday.

“I thought it was a good idea, but this is only going to happen the once. I’m not doing it again,” she said. “I am not aiming for a time, just finishing will be a bonus.”

Donna is raising money for the West Norfolk Deaf Association, for which she is a trustee, and Emunah – a children’s charity working in Israel.
