Johanne’s going the extra smile

A Spalding mum-of-two is hoping her smile will light up the Spalding Flower Parade as its Ambassador.

Johanne Seymour is Spalding born and bred with the Juniper Crescent resident having been to previous incarnations of the parade countless times before it finished in 2013.

A warehouse operator at Fowler Welsh she says her hobbies are reading, horse riding, running, gardening and keeping tropical fish.

“Spalding isn’t just my home, it’s where my heart is.

“I was born here, grew up here.

“My positive personality and attitude brings joy and people form a positive personal connection.

“I have passion for Spalding and a personality that people relate to.

“I was born at Spalding Hospital back in the days when it was still a maternity hospital.

“I have lived within the Spalding area for most of my life as this is my home.

“They always say home is where the heart is and Spalding is definitely my home.

“I am a mum of two boys although I am often mum to more young people and always willing to guide and support them in what can be difficult times.

“I’m a positive and supportive person with a unique personality and always has a smile on my face whether it’s at work or at home.”
