Jail for leaders of cannabis supply

Two men arrested in Holbeach where a cannabis farm was operating, were part of a seven-man gang jailed as part of a multi-force operation targeting organised crime groups.

The two were arrested in Albert Street, Holbeach, where 102 plants were discovered.
Neritan Semanjaku (44), and Lubian Arapi (28), both of no fixed address, appeared at Peterborough Crown Court.
Arapi was jailed for two years and ten months after admitting to production of cannabis and being concerned in the production of the drug.
Semanjaku was sentenced to seven months in prison after pleading guilty to the production of cannabis.
Speaking after the case, Detective Sergeant Matt Lauch said Arapi was one of two of the ‘most organised cannabis distributors we have seen in Cambridgeshire.’
The second principal man, Lindjet Salillari (31), of no fixed address, was arrested in London Road, Peterborough, and was sentenced to three years and three months in prison.
“Following our investigation, these two principal members of an organised crime group have been jailed for a significant period and now face deportation. Another five men have also been jailed for their part in the production of the drugs,” said Det Sgt Lauch.
Leonard Zyka (49), of Parsons Drive, Boston, Azis Beshri (28), of no fixed address, Gentjan Agalliu (42), of Bristol and Enkel Plaku (20), of Eastfield Road, Peterborough, also appeared at court.
Beshri, Zyka, Plaku and Agalliu were each jailed for seven months after admitting producing cannabis.
