Indoor bowls round-up: Spalding IBC aces storm to five county wins

Spalding Indoor Bowls Club members completed their competitive campaigns by winning five county trophies.

Leading the way was Graham Smith, who beat R Vinter 2-0 in the sets singles. Chelsea Tomlin then beat L Harris in the under-25 ladies singles, while Aaron Wild beat A Hodgson 21-5 in the 18 and under senior singles.

Lauren Finbow, Danielle Wild, Ruby Hill and Chelsea Tomlin also beat J Smith, J Thompson, A Jackson and J Vinter 28-11 in the ladies’ fours.

Meanwhile, Scott Dunham, Andy Dunham and Mathew Orrey beat B Jackson, R Jackson and K Rands (Lincoln) to lift the men’s triples title.

  • Another stellar season at Spalding Indoor Bowls Club came to a close as they held the club finals weekend.

A host of trophies were dished out to all of the winners on the day.

Rabbits singles: runner-up – P Lockie; winner I Stafford.
