A 42-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of human trafficking offences.
The suspects were questioned following a Lincolnshire Police operation in Gedney yesterday morning (Wednesday, November 7).
Both have been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
Lincolnshire Police said six people believed to have been trafficked to the county for work in the food services sector were identified at the address and police are now investigating.
The Lincolnshire Police operation was supported by the Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority (GLAA), Immigration Enforcement, HM Revenue and Customs, and South Holland District Council.
A police statement said anyone who suspects someone is being trafficked or exploited should report their concerns immediately.
You can get in touch with police or call the GLAA’s dedicated intelligence team on 0800 432 0804.
