Staff refuse to give up cash in Spalding gunpoint robbery

Spalding convenience store staff held at gunpoint refused to give up the contents of the till during a robbery on Monday and the robber left empty-handed.

Lincolnshire Police are appealing for information and have released photograph of the failed robber.

Police said at 8.27pm on Monday, November 5, a man (pictured) entered the Fantasia store on Bourne Road.

He threatened staff with a BB gun and asked them to empty the contents of the till into a grey rucksack.

Staff refused and the man left empty-handed.
