Housing developer helps net money for charity

Money was netted for charity thanks to a housing developer’s football tournament last week.

Ashwood Homes put on the tournament which raised £1,381 for Cancer Research.

There were 12 teams competing in the five-a-side competition at Holbeach United Community Sports Academy’s facilities which the firm helped partially fund.

The team from Turnbull Building Supplies in Pinchbeck were the overall winners.

There was also a mobile bar, food stalls and family games on offer.

Chloe King said: “We were delighted with the turnout and had lots of really positive comments.

“We raised £1,381 and hope to add to this throughout the year with various fundraisers.

“A huge thank you to everyone who helped make it possible including players, officials, supporters and HUCSA.”
