Holbeach United continue their summer rebuild with six more new signings

Holbeach United have snapped up six new players as they continue to revamp their ranks.

After enduring a winless campaign that saw them relegated from the UCL Premier Division North, things are beginning to look much brighter at Carter’s Park.

Two former Tigers in left back Ainsley Johnson and winger Cal Davies have returned to the club after spells with Moulton Harrox last season.

The experienced Dan Fountain has also agreed to join Danny Clifton’s side ahead of their first season in the Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties League Division One North.

Likewise, defenders Ben Calvert and Luke Nicholson have agreed terms to play at Step Six next term, while midfielder Joe Millinson will also be a part of the squad.

Meanwhile, Holbeach have launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise £1,000 in order to build a small construction for volunteer Alan “Lefty” Wright to sell programmes and club merchandise from.

They are more than halfway there, but would appreciate donations.

Holbeach begin their pre-season fixtures at Bourne Town next Saturday (3pm).
