High fives as Knights win at last

It took a while but Pinchbeck United are finally off the mark in Premier Division North of the United Counties League.
They did it in style with a 5-0 win at Hucknall Town on Saturday, leapfrogging their hosts at the foot of the table.
Andre Williams scored twice with Flynn Slater, James Stuffins and Logan Tate also on target as the Knights ended a run of six consecutive defeats with their first win of the campaign.
Manager Lewis Thorogood had said his team needed to go back to basics to turn around their fortunes and that looked to have paid off in spades as they put their poor start to the campaign behind them in stunning style.
Last Wednesday saw Pinchbeck go down 4-0 at home to Deeping Rangers, although their predicament is slightly misleading in that six of their eight league games so far this season have been played away.
The Knights were in Knockout Cup action last night when they hosted high-flying Lincoln United.
Knights v Deeping: Lakin, Burrell (Cranfield), Jaine, N Stevens (Kudla), Wright, Robson, Slater, Henderson, Johnson, Williams (Turunen), Ibeneme (Garner). Sub: Edwards.
Attendance: 96.
Knights at Hucknall: Edwards, Cranfield, Burrell (Ibeneme), Jaine, N Stevens, Stuffins, Robson, Slater (Tate), Henderson (Melson), Johnson, Williams (Wright).
Attendance: 204.
