Gym equipment for station

Holbeach firefighters can keep fit while on duty thanks to a donation from Holbeach St Marks Community Gym.

The gym has donated some unwanted equipment to Holbeach Fire Station.

Nick Worth, a director of the community gym, said: “We had several pieces of gym equipment that were duplicated and we needed to create some space in the village hall for regular village activities.

“We contacted Holbeach Fire Station as I was aware of how important it is for firefighters to maintain their fitness and have appropriate facilities on site.

“Holbeach Fire Station had some space created when the old water carrier became redundant and we are delighted we could help our local firefighters in this way.”
