Gosberton B keep top position

Gosberton B have bounced back from their shock Billiards Shield exit with a 4-3 win over Donington in the Spalding and District Billiards League.
Des Forbes (R50) and Marcus Pell (O40) got the wins for Gosberton, while Ben Wrigglesworth (R20) beat Shane White (O50) to score for Donington, who drop a place to fourth.
There were breaks of 29 and 22 from Wrigglesworth, 24 and 22 from White and a 23 from Pell.
Holbeach B remain in second, despite not having a match this week.
Consti A jumped up to third thanks to a superb 7-0 victory of Pyramid B.
Pyramid A and Consti B had a bottom-of-the-table clash with Pyramid coming off the better.
They won 5-2, thanks to victories from John Clapton (R100) and John Twell (R70).
Jason Rose (R20) beat Reegan Cooke Holmes (R70) to score for Consti.
Despite losing, Mick Johnson (O150) racked up breaks of 54, 25 and 20, while Rose scored a 24 and Steve Spencer (R110) pocketed a 22.
Holbeach A also had a free week.
