Give people a choice on pavilion

May I use The Spalding and South Holland Voice to reply to Chris Brewis.
Dear Mr Brewis, being somewhat sceptical of your motive in asking for a referendum on the “new pavilion” may I ask that when the question is phrased it includes reference to an alternative building? If you ask the people of the parish “do you want a new sports pavilion” the answer will certainly be a resounding yes.
I know that you are a clever man and if you were to give the parishioners a choice of two pavilions you would achieve a far better response. Provide drawings of both, the details of the price of both and where the finance would come from.
The committee you chair would then have the confidence to go ahead with the parishioners choice of pavilion.
