It was another Spalding Pumpkin Festival to be proud of last Friday as an estimated 10,000 people celebrated in the town with a glorious parade.
Fireworks flew to end the event, which had started in the morning with stalls and games, and met an explosive end in town after the evening parade.
A spokesman from South Holland District Council said after the event: “A big, big thank you to everyone who made Spalding Pumpkin Festival a massive success – festival goers, stall holders and the live performers.
“And of course our very own Communities Team for putting on the event.”The council has already announced plans for the festival to return next year.
