GALLERY – Spalding and District Snooker and Billiards League presentation

The curtain came down on another Spalding and District Snooker and Billiards League season with the annual trophy presentation evening.

All of the 2024/25 season’s trophy winners got their hands on silverware at the Spalding Services Club bash – which included snooker Division One winners Consti E and billiards champions Pyramid A.

The traditional dinner and dance also saw the coveted Highest Achievement Award presented posthumously to Steve Spencer with his widow Julie there to receive it and also present the prizes.

Steve, who passed away last year, had played in the league for many years and was a familiar face at the annual finals weekend as a referee.

Other notable prize winners saw Vince Fitter win the overall highest snooker break award with a 69, while a 44 gave Tony Scully the highest break for a receive handicap player in the Billiards Shield.

The Division Two winners were Boundary A, with Pyramid B taking the Division Three crown.
