GALLERY – Lockdown ‘rush hour’ in Spalding

Normally at 9am on a Tuesday the streets in Spalding would be at their busiest.

But with the current coronavirus lockdown, schools and many shops closed and the majority of people working from home it was a more quiet scene at that time this week.

Registered journalist Steve Timewell, of Lincolnshire Drones, sent up one of his machines at 9am on Tuesday (March 31) to take these evocative pictures of usually busy streets looking deserted.

Steve said: “It all looks incredibly peaceful.”
