Frozen warms the hearts of reindeers

The hit film Frozen has inspired the naming of three baby reindeers at Baytree Garden Centre at Weston.

In a competition run in conjunctiuon with The Voice, readers were invited to submit their suggestions for the three calves.

And the winners have now been revealed as eight-year-old Aaron, his mum Taryn and dad Tony Bean, from Whaplode Drove, who came up with the names Sven, Olaf and Elsa.

Baytree’s William Wallis explained: “They come to Baytree every Christmas especially to see and feed the reindeers and were really excited when they found out they had won.

“It was both Taryn and Aaron who came up with the names, although his mum is the fan of Frozen.

“She thought that the names were really fitting as it is a heartwarming film and seeing the baby reindeers gave the same feeling.

“The two dark babies are the boys – Sven and Olaf – and the lighter reindeer is the girl, Elsa.”

The winners received a £50 Baytree gift voucher and a family pass for four people for the Winter Wonderland when it opens at Christmas.
