Friend’s tribute to murdered Karolina

A woman murdered in a Spalding home has been described as extremely funny, smart, loving and strong by a friend fundraising to get her body home to Lithuania.

Karolina Zinkeviciene (30) was one of two bodies found at a property in Winsover Road after police attended at 5.30am last Thursday, June 25.

The other body was that of Breshnev Ruiters (34).

Lincolnshire Police say they are treating it as a murder inquiry but are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident after releasing two men at the property when they attended without further action.

A fundraising page has now been set up by Raminta Kailiunatie who says Karolina had a daugher.

Promoting the page on Facebook she writes: “My best friend Karolina Zinkeviciene has been taken away from us. Her daughter, parents, family, friends, colleagues are in very great pain.

“She was extremely special friend in my life and I will never forgive that person who made the final decision for her to live or die, the animal who broke so many lives and hearts.

“At this moment I am asking you to support Karolina’s family financially through the period of darkness.

“The last thing we can do is to help Karolina to be returned to her loving parents back in Lithuania.

“Please remember her the way she was – extremely funny, smart, loving, energised, beautiful, strong.

“I miss you so much.”

The JustGiving page urges people to donate to “make this situation slightly easier for her parents so we could support them so Karolina would be able to return home for the very last time.”
