Free lunch being offered at Spalding restaurant for Armed Forces Day

Service personnel and veterans can claim a free lunch at Spalding restaurant The Pantry and The Parlour on Saturday (June 27), which is Armed Forces Day.

The venue is also supporting Reserves Day on Wednesday (June 24) and will be giving a free lunch to all reservists on that day too.
Restaurant manager Sarah Ollerenshaw said: “We have a strong connection to the military here with our head chef Tim being a former soldier, and the boyfriend of Amy, one of our waitresses, is currently in the army.
“My partner is part of the RAF Reserve so I have a little understanding of the pressures of service life and it is nice to be able to show some support.”
Service personnel simply need to show their ID card and veterans their veteran badge to qualify for the lunch.  The Pantry and The Parlour, which opened in April, is in Red Lion Street.
