If you’re hoping to get a business off the ground, South Holland District Council wants to help you along those first steps.
Anyone looking to start their own business in South Holland, from bookkeepers and beauticians to cupcake bakers and care agencies, can get all the skills and help they need with establishing their new enterprise with an intensive three-day Starting in Business course in Spalding next month.
The always popular free course, provided by NBV Enterprise Solutions and hosted by South Holland District Council, helps to transform your idea into a business with the help and support of experienced trainers and funding methods.
On the programme, you will get to meet other like-minded people and benefit from the expertise of a company with over 30 years’ experience in helping people start businesses.
The intensive three-day course starts with a two-day session on Tuesday, August 8 and Wednesday, August 9, covering the basics of starting and running a business.
The course continues on Tuesday, August 14, with a day dedicated to creating a business plan. This includes asking yourself the right questions, calculating start-up costs and developing realistic financial projections.
The session ends with an overview of additional support the BNV can provide once the business is up and running.
The course is free to anyone wishing to attend but advanced registration is essential.
Attendees receive a certificate upon completion of the three days.
