Frank’s up for shed award

A Long Sutton man is up for a national award for his work with a local group.

Frank Heinrich-Tiller, of Long Sutton Men’s Shed, is a finalist in the Shedder of the Year category at the UK Men’s Shed Awards (UKMSA).

He’s due to attend the London ceremony today (Thursday) where the winners will be announced.

A spokesman for Long Sutton Men’s Shed, said: “This is a testament to the incredible work and spirit Frank has shown, as demonstrated in the nomination submitted.

“Each award has been judged by an independent panel consisting of a UKMSA volunteer Ambassador, a UKMSA staff member or trustee and a representative from the UKMSA corporate or charity partner.

“The UKMSA awards are a key opportunity to thank and celebrate the UK Sheds and Shedders who lead the Men’s Sheds movement, in a prestigious setting and which highlights the importance of the work.”
