Four-some Holbeach United cruise past Blackstones in UCL Knockout Cup

Holbeach United eased to a 4-0 victory over lower-graded Blackstones on Wednesday night as they progressed in the ChromaSport UCL Knockout Cup.

Jordan Thomas put the Tigers 1-0 up at half time against Division One side Stones, but they weren’t comfortable until Andrew Tidswell buried a trademark free kick after the interval.

Holbeach then flexed their muscles and showed some Premier Division class, with Gary King and Tommy Treacher rounding off the scoring late on.

The Tigers visit boss Darren Jarvis’ former side Peterborough Northern Star on Saturday (3pm).
