Four defeats in a row for Spalding United after Gresley beating

Spalding United’s poor run of form continued on Monday as they were handed a 3-0 home humbling by a Gresley side that are struggling in Evo-Stik League First Division South’s bottom five.

It’s now four losses on the trot for the promotion-chasing Tulips, who remain fourth in the table, thanks to strikes from Gary Ricketts (pen 32 & 82) and Jordan Ball (57) at the Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field.

The Tulips must now try and stop the rot at Stocksbridge Park Steels on Saturday (3pm).
