The second round of the Tydd St Giles Seniors’ club championship took place recently with Michael Flint walking away with the win and title of club champion 2026.
Results: 1st Michael Flint with round 1 net 67, round 2 net 67, 2nd Wayne Alder with round 1 net 70 round 2 net 66, 3rd Salvatore Di Bella with round 1 net 72 round 2 net 69.
Round 2 leader board: Wayne Alder with net 66, 2nd Michael Corbet net 66, 3rd Michael Flint net 67.
Men’s August pairs competition: 1st (ocb) Brian Newby/Joe Kellegher 42 points, 2nd Mark Smith/Andrew Ward 42 points, 3rd (ocb) Clive Barber/Wayne Alder 40 points, 4th (ocb) Michael Ewing/William Luckett 40 points.
Tydd Seniors’ team hosted Ryston Park GC Tydd winning 4-2. The captain’s guest of honour was Lee Smith.
