A charity that helps rescue and look after cats has thanked the community for their generous donations.
The Spalding and District Cats Protection League appealed for donations after a particularly busy Christmas for its 20 years.
And organiser Sandra Gelsthorpe says they’ve had fantastic donations of cat food, toys and items for their fund-raising jumble sales from a host of different people.
Sandra said: “I just want to thank everyone who has donated.
“We’ve had a brilliant response especially from people donating items to be raffled.
“One lady from outside the area saw the articles on Twitter and provided us with a huge amount which meant we’ve also been able to help out a few feral cats too.
“We’ve had fantastic support.”
