Peterborough & Nene Valley AC runner Ryan Anderson was first across the line at Crowland’s Park Run, in 19 minutes 26 seconds, his sixth win in the last 11 races.
Even more impressive, his clubmate Evie Hemmings was the first female finisher, clocking 23:33 for the junior 15-17 runner’s fourth consecutive victory and eighth in the last 11 races.
Leading the Halmer Harriers contingent was Richard Williams, picking up 10th place with 23:11. Simon Eldridge was four places further back in 24:33.
Two members of the Spalding-based club took on the Ferry Meadows Parkrun in Peterborough with Jayne Pell 659th of the 727 finishers in 40:35, ahead of Kathryn Chapman, who was 691st, 45:28.
Daisy Jowers took on the Alton Water Parkrun on the Suffolk/Essex border and was the first female finisher, 19th overall in 24:01. In London, Scott Burrell clocked 17:19 at Battersea Parkrun, but that was only good enough for 32nd place in a high-class 1,054 strong field.
Further afield in Snowdonia, Adam Caress was fifth male, seventh overall, in the Pont y Bala Cymunedol Ras, finishing in 20:13.
Preparations continue apace in Crowland for the sixth anniversary of the Snowden Field Parkrun on April 26.
Since 2019, the event has been held 220 times.
