Ex-pupils of Fleet Fen primary school can join reunion

Organisers of a primary school reunion are still trying to trace ex-pupils.

The primary school in Fleet Fen, near Gedney Hill, closed in the 1970s.

People still living locally and others who moved away are planning to attend the evening event organised by Philip Grummitt, Peter Bingham and Ian Laxton.
They have specifically been asked if Shirley Beeken is planning to attend, but have no contact details for her. Anybody who knows her is asked to pass on Philip’s phone numbers – 01406 330858 or 07710 348550.

Open to ex-pupils and their partners, the reunion, which includes a buffet, is at Gedney Hill Golf Club on Saturday, September 3. Tickets (£10) available from Philip. Proceeds will go to East Anglian Air Ambulance who have saved the life of at least one ex-pupil.
