Easter fun at gardens

There was plenty happening at Springfields over the weekend to keep the whole family entertained.

Children were able to explore the Festival Gardens, find the clues and crack the code to receive a delicious Thornton’s Easter egg treat.

There was free face painting and crafting sessions for children, while visitors were able to get up close and personal with a wide variety of animals including meerkats at the free children’s mobile zoo. Don’t worry if you missed it, the zoo will also be at Springfields this weekend.

The new Springfields miniature railway is now up and running.

This 7¼ inch gauge railway will take you on a trip through the woodlands in the beautiful Festival Gardens.
