Drug driving arrest after A17 collision

The A17 remains closed after a collision involving two cars and a lorry – and Lincolnshire Police have confirmed they have arrested a 61-year-old man.

In an update, police said: “A 61-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drug-driving and possession of Cannabis and is in custody.

Two people were taken to hospital. One suffered serious but not life threatening injuries, and one suffered minor injuries.

The air ambulance attended the scene.

Police are still asking people to avoid the area.
